Today I am reviewing NYC
Smooth Skin Pressed Powder. It comes with a price tag of 3$.
What I think:
So I am not really a big fan of pressed
powders because I have a dry skin, BOO! I mostly skip powders in my foundation
routine but everyone knows that in Karachi heat wave is so strong almost throughout
the year and this is the only reason behind if i am using powder( in extremely
hot and humid weather)I am more in to dewy finish.
While ago back I tried this powder
and I found it pretty reasonable. As far as packaging concerned, for the price
tag the packaging is quite good and handy. It might look white and chalky in the
pan but invisible once applied. Staying
power is good for 3 hours.
How to apply translucent/pressed
powder:
I think it’s very important how you are applying translucent/pressed powder. Here are my few tips.
· Do not overdo just always finish off with a few sweeps with light hands to set the foundation.
· Always blend well with a good powder brush.
· Make sure you are not applying the excess amount to avoid the cakey look.
What
pressed powder do you use?
XO Sehar
Hey Sehar, great review and application recommendation! Pressed powders are also a bit better than loose powder as they are more compact and easy to apply on-the-go. :)
