We all have Coconut oil in our pantry but
do you know that it can do little wonders for skin as well?
I love eating coconut they are high in
dietary fiber, improve digestion, quick energy boost, help prevent obesity,
reduce sweet craving and many more. Coconut oil’s main fat is lauric acid, a medium chain fatty acid that positively impacts
cholesterol levels. It also contains vitamins E and K, and iron, and has both antimicrobial and antifungal properties

When
I discovered that coconut oil is the healthiest cooking oil since It consist of
saturated fats, oil properties are not damaged by heating, I told my mother and
she was rolling her eyes and she was like “coconut oil for cooking, what the
world has come to” And I realized that I live in Karachi and my mother love to
cook in ghee and regular cooking oil but never mind mothers are always right!J
I
thought I should share 3 of my favorite uses for coconut oil, so here is my
take on that.
Moisturizer
Coconut
oil work as a great moisturizer .Whenever I am running out of body lotion I use
to apply coconut oil on my body and I feel it soothes and nourishes skin well. It
also help remove dead skin cells, you can check out my DIY coconut sugar lip
scrub here
Hair oil/Mask
Now
this is something that I am familiar since my child hood. Coconut oil is an
important part of my hair care routine. I use coconut oil twice a week on my
scalp and leave it for overnight.
Make up remover
I
discovered that coconut oil work as a gentle make up remover and I love the
fact lately. It works great for removing eye makeup also .Gently give a massage
to all over the face and on lids ,with the help of cotton bud wipe everything.
Do
you also love coconut oil?

I love the smell of coconut oil. I used parachute hair oils before I moved to vatika's for my hair. But I guess I'll make a switch.

I love paracute one, doesn't feel heavy or greasy.Vatika didnot work for me,xx
DeleteCoconut oil is overlooked when it comes to hair, body and skin care. I also like it for my hair as a rejuvenator and natural volume enhancer. As for it being a moisturizer, I will second that as it leaves skin very soft and smooth to touch after continued, regular use. Thank you for praising this versatile oil that has wonderful properties. :) xo
