Red lipstick may seem tricky but it looks very glamorous .I personally love red lipstick .For me it’s a very red carpet kind of statement , looks very feminine ,bold and versatile. Sharing is caring i believe so here are some of my tips and tricks on how to master red lipstick.
·
Exfoliate your lips before applying any of lip color
and most important the red lipstick, this simple DIY home made lip scrub will
help you out.
·
Whiten your teeth; baking soda is great way for instant brightness. Apply
some baking soda directly y to your teeth and wash it out after few minutes,
this is one of my favorite
use of baking soda and trust me my friends it works, Oh yes!
·
Now apply a sheer layer of concealer /foundation.
·
I am not a lip liner person at all, but a neutral shade lip liner pencil won’t
look bad and obvious, you can skip this step. Line your lip; it will
define your pout.
·
It’s time to apply the lipstick, try to use a lip brush. Don’t overdo
with color.
·
I don’t use the shinny gloss over on red lipstick; I love to use any good
lip balm or thin layer of Vaseline if my lipstick is mate. It will add a nice
sheen to your lip and won’t give you a bleeding lip effect either.
·
So you are done with red lips, I usually keep my eyes neutral.
Winged liner also looks versatile with red lips.
So do you
love red lipstick?
Love your photos, I love red lipstick but I don't wear it often

Oh you are too kind honey:-)Thankyou so much for showing love to my pictures,xx
DeleteThank you Sehar, for such an easy and helpful method to apply red lipstick. I agree, red lipstick is a very feminine and bold statement a woman makes. I liked your tips on applying a balm over the lipstick to prevent bleeding lip effect and to give one's lip a nice sheen. Wearing red lipstick as you said, should be contrasted with a minimal eye-look and or no make-up at all. As the red alone is a standout, I think and maybe some gold earrings wouldn't hurt either. ;) Well done!
ReplyDeleteI am so much glad you liked the post.Oh absolutely right honey,i always admire your writing skills.Gold stud looks extremely fab !
DeleteThank-you so much,xx
Great tips, Sehar. I usually blot the lips after the first layer of lipstick and add a little bit of sheer powder with a powder brush through a very thin sheet of tissue (when you tear one layer off the tissue) and then apply another coat of lipstick. That's only if I need it to last all day though :)
