Summer couldn’t be fun if you are not updating your wardrobe; I live in Karachi which means I mostly encounter the hot and humid weather. When heat waves strike here we don’t have many choices. I have to buy mostly lawn fabric. Here are some of my personal wardrobe essentials which are the must have for me in summers, if you have such kind of items I believe it would be much easier for you to pickup an ootd for every day clothing or you can also mix and match, that’s what I do.
Floral Lawn kurta/Tops:
I can never get enough of floral lawn kurta
in summers. This kurta trend is a hit for summer you just need to pair them
with cigarette pants and you are good to go . I mostly love to wear this kurta
with traditional basic salwar with kohlaporis.
Cigarette pants/Culottes:
A basic off whit cigarette pants or
culottes would be a great essential in summer wardrobe. I have and always will
a special place in my heart for a basic plain salwar, would prefer over anything.
Khussa/Flip Flop:
Oh my! That khussa trend is so much
everywhere, they look cool with skinny jeans or with cigarette pants.
Bag:
I love tote bags I mostly sport this black
studded tote with flip-flop, great for the day time. The other one has subtle
splash of color, it will compliment basic off-white or white top.
Sunglasses and Watch:
Karachi looks dreamy only with sunglasses
so try to invest on good pair of sun glasses .I can’t leave my house without
having them and this DW watch always reminds me of summers.
What are your wardrobe essentials for the
summer? Would love to hear, Hope you enjoyed the post.
Happy summer everyone!
