How to Make Yogurt at Home DIY:

When I was kid my mother used to make yogurt at home, it was hard to believe    that milk can turn into yogurt overnight but when in the next morning a settled yogurt surprised me, it was a truly happy and unbelievable moment for me! Weird kid I was!
Yogurt is a very common and traditional food here in Karachi. I always enjoy healthy homemade food. This homemade yogurt is inexpensive, healthy and fun to make, this is my mother recipe. The secret to good thick homemade yogurt in my opinion is fresh full cream milk, a fresh yogurt as a starter, don’t beat it too much and let it rest for good time.
So ladies cheer the summers and heat wave in Karachi, This homemade yogurt is a great way to start your morning you can have it on breakfast or it can be your after yoga or workout treat.

What will you need?

·         Half litter full cream  milk
·         1 table spoon yogurt

 Instructions:

·         Heat up milk until it comes to a boil, let it cool down.
·         Once it has cooled up add yogurt starter (prepared yogurt) and slightly whisk.
·         Pour this mixture into a bowl and cover this bowl completely with a piece of cloth or lid.
·         Place this bowl over night into dark and warm place so bacteria can work easily.
·         Once it settles down. Place this into refrigerator to chill.

Enjoy!

  1. What an easy to follow recipe to make your own yogurt! Yogurt is good with some fresh fruit/granola/dry nuts too. And with mangoes, a good milkshake/mango lassi hits the spot in the hot summers. Your visuals for this DIY are strong and very well done, Sehar. Well done DIY!
